We Need:
* A nice comfy couch - we'd like to make the lobby more inviting for our guests and visitors and could use a couch and coffee table in nice condition.
* We are always in need of office chairs but especially now. With such a variety of hosts, our chairs get a workout and don't last as long as we would hope.
* Our computer system is ageing and we're looking at making some updates. This is a higher ticket item, but if you would like to be part of bringing the station into the light with new computers, please contact me.

The Alaska Permanent Fund application time is now and there is no easier way to remember and support your favorite non-profit. When you file your application online you can also Pick, Click and Give to your local radio station. KHNS is one of the many charitable organizations you will find when you file for your PFD.
In 2011 KHNS received $1050 in contributions that went directly towards a new production computer for the KHNS newsroom. Our radio station is a nuts and bolts operation, comprised of many moving parts that need tender care. This year we are hoping to double our gift amount to assist in ongoing projects at KHNS.
