Underwriting and Your Business
Underwriting programming is a great way for individuals, businesses and organizations to support Community Radio KHNS. Underwriting allows you to:
- 1. Support a long-respected sole source of local information and entertainment.
- 2. Associate your business name with programming that reaches virtually every resident in Haines, Skagway, Klukwan and the greater broadcasting region.
- 3. Inform the public about new or ongoing services.
- 4. Target your market niche.
- 5. Nurture name familiarity for your business, product, or service.
- 6. Link your business with national and international programming.
Underwriters will receive credit in accordance with FCC regulations and our station's Underwriting Policy.
The minimum (pro-rated) charge for underwriting is $100, and we require a minimum 13-week contract.
