Southeast Alaska Guidance Association needs Alaskan Youth aged 17-20 years old to apply to be AmeriCorps Members for the Alaska Service Corps program. The season starts June 2 and runs till August 15th. Crews camp, live and work together all summer as a team. They deploy around Southeast and South-central Alaska to do valuable service projects on public lands. They camp out and stay together as a crew the entire 12 weeks of the program. Members earn $900 a month, plus there is a small food stipend. If they successfully complete the program, Members receive a federal education award. For more info call 907-789-6172.
